I think if some people who had been at Thai Elephant Conservation Center recently, they might miss this baby elephant as he is turning one year old next month July 7.

Seven was born by his lovely mom Pang Kaew (means Crystal) on 7 July 2007 that why his name is Seven. I wish you will love this photo.

In this  picture I took it when I brought my tourists in three day mahout training course visited the elephant hospital so we stopped and visited this baby elephants on way.

I think there are a lot of fan of Wanalee are looking forward to seeing the picture of Wanalee, the most beautiful eyelashes at Thai Elephant Conservation Center as she has very long eyelashes.

Here is the photo of Prathida's eye for Prathida's fan, I took this picture this morning as we went to collect the elephants this morning with our tourists in three day mahout training course. So I just went straight to Prathida as she was near my in the forest.

I took this picture in this morning as we went into the forests with tourists from Australia who stay over night at Thai Elephant Conservation Center last night. This group they started the tour from Bangkok and headed to Chiang Mai for about 27 day tours.  So this morning they will visit and feed the elephant in the morning..

So I brought them into the forest to collect Jojo with his mahout " Sawang"

So this picture is presented to the fan of Jojo who have been here before and they might miss Jojo my little boy..

I took this picture as Wanalee she is splashing the water to the face of of the tourist in two day mahout training course. Palita she is Thai but she was born in UK she is only Thai woman ever in our mahout training course in This year. I do not know why there are only a few Thais in our Mahout Training Course. Are Thai City people? I do not know why???????

But any way there are a lot of Thais visit the elephant shows and bathing every day especially during long holiday.

I do not really know the elephant who holding the tail of Prathida!!!!! But why I can tell that tail is belonged to Prathida????????? Are you doubtful? I can you guys it is the tail of Prathida as she has twisted tail which is different than other elephants at the camp. So she is very remarkable.

I have to check which elephant who walking behind of Prathida tomorrow so that I can tell the name of him as he has a little tusk.

I took this photo as Prachaub and Prathida is drinking water and there were the tourists on the top of them so I just took the photo of their faces only.

Prachaub and Prathida is very good and closed friends who is very well get a long. Do you know if the elephants can not get a lot with each other what they do, some elephant could attack other one to dead if we can not help them so we have to learn more about their relations and behavior of each elephants before putting them to work together..

Nong is the son the our mahout at Thai Elephant Conservation Center and grew up nearby the Pang Lah village which is very closed to the Elephant Rehabilitation Center well known as Young Elephant Training School which is now closed and they use to keep retired and confiscated elephants, but it 's still under care of the Thai Elephant Conservation Center.

As the mahout of Prachaub he takes his day off for a couple day so he just left Prachaub his elephant to Nong and we put him and Prachaub for the Mahout Training Course and he did very good job. Nong always sing the songs and laugh as he enjoys working with the tourists, he always let the tourists participate in activities. During past three day 16-18 of May, Anika who came along with her mother from Bangkok to join our three day mahout training course, Nong did very good job. I wish we will have a lot of elephant so Nong can have his own elephant to take care.

Now the weather in Thailand is great from jungle activities like trekking or biking as the surrounding are very pretty and green like the mahout training course at Thai Elephant Conservation Center we just open the new season and there are so many tourists keep booking the course every day..

I would like to recommend all tourists who love the elephants have to make advanced reservation for the future as we limit only ten tourists from three day mahout course..

They are from Melbourne Australia joined and finished our most popular three day mahout training course at Thai Elephant Conservation Center during 13-15 of May and they just left the camp yesterday for new experience Tree Top in Chiang Mai as they told me yesterday..

This is the second time of Cathy with her beloved elephant " Jojo " The first participation in our three day course was about 4 years ago, so she said Jojo is much bigger than the past.

Garry he is very told Australian guy who come along with Cathy had Pang Kod as his elephant during staying at the camp. We found that Pang Kod always stays with Jojo so we match her for Garry. So I really wish that Cathy will come back again in the future and meet all you guys (web visitors) in near future..

It seems there have been a lot of tourists who have been in our Three day Mahout Training Course keeps returning to join our mahout training course almost every day like Karen who fly half of continent to memorize her second visit and participate in our Mahout Training Course for 6 day and this is her second time, she is from Florida United State.

Keren since she have been here, she's never stop grinning so far. She said to me that every time when she looks at the website, she is very happy to see the pictures of elephant and Wanalee. So she is the real fan of elephants. I wish you guy when you see the photo of Keren you will love to come back to the camp and stay with the elephants and us here.

Nau Oon is very cute baby elephant of greatest mother " Singha Khon" as she has very high possibility of pregnancy as told by the mahout.. Nau Oon was born at Thai Elephant Conservation Center on 12 of June 2004, it 's about 4 years ago in the forest.

I remember that Singha Khon she gave birth of her second baby by her own self and the day before she still worked in our mahout training course and we brought the elephant into the forest with the tourists and next day the Mahout " Berm" he just knocked my door and told me to pick up the baby elephant together in the forest. So we went their with many mahouts to bring Nau Oon back to the camp in the morning and it was drizzling rain.

Now Nau Oon is bigger and well cared by her mahout at Thai Elephant Conservation Center.... I wish that I can turn back time to take the pictures of her when we first met her and mother.

This picture I took it when all elephants were walking into the show ground to perform the first show for regular tourists.. All elephants will hold the tail of each other and walk into the ground and all tourists are waiting to see elephant show...

Just finished our two day mahout training course about a hour ago, Susanne and her friend Kathryn from Australia during 11-12 of May...Susanne can not get on the elephant properly so she just skip this morning show and let her friend to perform the show with Prathida and John..

Ai and his mother Pumpaung have to be in the forest during the day as we just finished building very big stable for them. So I took Davin and her girl friend to visit Ai and we brought some banana from them.

When we got their we found Ai was staying with his mom and the mahout told me that Ai is very gentle when he stayed in the forest. At the camp he is very stubborn and it 's very difficult to hug him as he tried to punch or hit with his strong trunk. But in the forest we can hug and give him the banana easily.. So I eventually love Ai so much.

Micheal from Switzerland in our 9 days specially arranged mahout training course during 7-15 of May. As last year he was here from three day mahout training course he loved it and then this year he decided to come back for his beloved and greedy elephant " Prachaub"

So I went into the forest in this morning with very sleepy and drowsy feeling as last night I went to bed around 02:00 Am as to fix the website to work normally.. Now it 's almost finished.

Michael was here last year and he really liked it so this year, he comes back again for his famous elephant " Prachaub" As Prachaub always makes every body happy so there are a lot of tourists keep coming back for her like: Dr. Shaw from Australia, Lief from Sweden and Micheal Longford from Australia..

Wanalee today she is completely 11 years old young girl as she was born on 6 of May 1997. Wanalee is the latest baby elephant of Wang Chao who is now 53 years old and still work as the taxi elephant.



Just added other update on the birthday of Areena who is now 4 years old, she was born on May 6 2004. Areena she is the first baby of great mother " Pumpaung" who is now nursing AI for her friend " Pang Kod" as she rejected to look after her own self baby.

I think every body who have been in our mahout training course in the past already know which elephant and mahout who is the most trouble maker.. Jojo is not the most one in our group, but he is lover.

Prathida and her mahout John is the most trouble maker in our mahout training course as they will try to get other tourists and mahouts wet every time they are in the pool. As Prathida is only elephant who can hold a lot of water and then the tourist can grab her trunk to splash on the other people.. It 's really fun right??

Just want to say big thank for three families from Australia in our two day mahout training course on 5-6 May 2008, they arrived at the camp yesterday and they are very excited to be with the elephants next day...

There are 11 people in a group traveling together as following: Natani, Simon, Mikaela, Jemima, Angus, Fiona, Darren and Jacob and other 2 I can remember their name...

I took these pictures after we put our elephants in the forest with our tourists in three day mahout training course. Prathida she really enjoy her vegetarian foods in the forest as her friends were moving to the grazing area as well.

Prathida she is very happy elephant and especially she has John as the mahout to look after her. Prathida she has really closed relationship and associated to John as since she was born John always came and played with her.

Personally I really respect the way the mahouts and elephants live together at Thai Elephant Conservation Center. I wish there will be a lot of tourists will come and see or even join our three day mahout training course in the future.

I took this pictures on the first day that I have my camera arrived the Thai Elephant Conservation Center. This is Family of Pum the mahout of Kaew with his nieces on his elephant carrying the grasses back to his home after the elephant show finished..

Sridor Yai is coming out of the forest in this morning and recently he just went out of Musth and returned to work normally as the taxi elephant..

We went into the forest to pick the elephants with our guests in two day mahout training course and we found Wanalee with very wet thick muds on body as last night was drizzling rain. So Wanalee just covered herself with wet muds as the nature of elephants and to repel the insects from bothering them.

This is the first tourists in New season of the mahout training course started on 29-30 of April 2008. After we closed our mahout training course for one month during April as the weather is too hot for the elephants, then we just resume our course for our first tourists, but any way I have a lot of tourists booked for their training course in May already and seem the course almost fully booked ahead.

Now the season of fun just begins in May as the rain is starting to fall and the surrounding natures are very green and all elephant are very happy with plenty of food and water.

I wish to see you guys in new season soon.

I shot this picture after we left Wanalee in the forest and let we let her play naturally, Wanalee she just loved to cover herself with Mud as to repel the horse fly.

I think if it's still rain till the night, Wanalee will come out of the forest with very thick mud of her body.. Let see how she looks like tomorrow.

I just change the new application to the new blog platform, So every things is not settle yet as I am professional Webmaster. There are so many time the website is just collapsed caused and I need to reinstall the application again and again.

But any way because I really want the website looked better and better. I am sorry If I cause you guys frustrated.

Okay let me tell you about I just set one category of " Today's photo" which you can see the new photo added every day, because now I have new camera to take those pictures. Why not to add it every day.

I got one email of Kate who would like me to make arrangement of the car for one day trip at Thai Elephant Conservation Center and I did it for her with very good car. She told me in the email that she will come with her husband and two kids.

And this morning I meet very lovely family just watching the elephant bath and I asked about their name. So I asked their a little girl about to touch the elephant. And then I took the pictures of Kate and her lovely daughter with Jojo ( the most handsome elephant at the camp)

It seems their little daughter a bit afraid of Jojo, because of his body..

This picture of Pang Yom was taken this morning as I went to visit her.. Pang Yom now she is more than 50 years old..

She is greatest mother ever in Thailand as she already had about 5 or 6 baby elephants in her life (Normally the female elephant could gives about 3-5 baby elephants as maximum in their life) One of best baby is Prathida who is the latest baby elephant of Pang Yom.

Pang Yom she is very intelligent elephant in the camp and she really loves the mahout and the people around her.. Every mahout at the camp can ride and take care of her during the main mahout takes his day off.
